Privacy Policy

aindme is an AI messaging assistant: it learns how you write and can reply on your behalf when you are away. Doing that means handling some genuinely personal information, so this page sets out exactly what we collect, why, who it goes to, and how to get rid of it.
The short version. We collect your phone number, the profile you create, and the messages you and your AI exchange. Your messages are sent to Google's Gemini API so the AI can generate replies. We never sell your data. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time.
Who we are
aindme is operated from India. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights below, contact support@gedigoo.com.
What we collect
| Data | Why we have it |
|---|---|
| Phone number | It is your account identifier. Verified by SMS one-time code through Firebase Authentication. |
| Profile — name, username, occupation, photo, availability status | Shown to people you chat with, and used to give your AI a sense of who it is speaking as. |
| Messages — direct messages with other aindme users, and conversations your AI handles | To deliver them, to show your history, and as the material your AI learns from when drafting a reply the way you would write it. |
| What you teach your AI — persona answers, boundaries, saved memories, scripts | This is the AI's instructions. It exists only to shape what your AI says. |
| Contacts (optional) | Only if you turn on contact discovery. See the section below — we do not receive your actual contact list. |
| Device notification token | To send you push notifications. Deleted when you sign out or delete your account. |
| Purchases — plan, credits, transaction records | To give you what you paid for, and because tax law requires us to keep sales records. |
| Usage events — screens opened, features used, errors | To understand what works and fix what doesn't. Recorded by our own server; we do not use Google Analytics or any third-party advertising SDK. |
| Safety records — reports you file or that are filed about you, blocks | To act on abuse. See "Safety and moderation". |
We do not collect your precise location, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not show ads.
How contact discovery works
If you choose to find people from your contacts, the app converts each phone number into an irreversible hash on your device and sends only those hashes. We compare them against hashes of numbers already registered with us and tell the app which ones matched. Your contact list itself never reaches our servers, and we do not store the hashes we could not match.
This feature is entirely optional. Declining it does not limit anything else in the app — you can still find people by username.
Where your data goes
We share data only with the services needed to run aindme:
- Google (Gemini API) — when your AI drafts a reply, the relevant conversation context and what you have taught your AI are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate that reply. This is the core of how the product works. Google processes this as our service provider under their API terms.
- Google Firebase — phone-number verification and push notification delivery.
- MongoDB Atlas — the managed database your account and messages are stored in.
- RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play — subscription and purchase processing. We never see or store your card details; payment is handled entirely by the App Store or Play Store.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose data if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to investigate abuse or protect someone's safety.
Safety and moderation
aindme lets people message each other, so we have to be able to act on abuse. When you report someone, we take a copy of the recent messages in that conversation and store it with the report, so a moderator can still assess it even after the messages are deleted. Reports are reviewed by our team, and we may suspend accounts that break our Terms.
Reports about an account are retained even if that account is deleted — otherwise deleting and re-registering would be a way to erase an abuse record.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. No email, no support ticket.
Your account stops working immediately. After a 14-day grace period — there so a mistaken tap or a lost phone is recoverable — we permanently delete:
- your profile, photo, phone number and username;
- your AI's persona, training, memories and scripts;
- your conversations and direct messages;
- your contacts, groups and Legacy Vault entries;
- any remaining credit balance.
We keep two things after deletion, and only these:
- Payment and invoice records, because tax and accounting law requires us to retain them. They are no longer linked to an identifiable person.
- Safety reports filed about the account, for the reason given above.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. App Store and Play Store subscriptions can only be cancelled through the store itself. Cancel there first, or you will continue to be billed.
Your rights
You can access and correct your profile in the app at any time, and delete everything as described above. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to a copy of your data, to object to certain processing, or to complain to a data-protection authority. Write to support@gedigoo.com and we will respond within 30 days.
How long we keep things
Account data is kept while your account is open, and deleted on the schedule above once you close it. Usage events are retained in aggregate. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on managed infrastructure with access limited to the people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not ask you for information we do not need, and we never ask for your password by email or message.
Children
aindme is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
