Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and aindme. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use aindme.
What aindme does
aindme is an AI assistant that learns your writing style and can reply to messages on your behalf while you are unavailable. You choose how much freedom it has: it can draft replies for your approval, or send them automatically.
You are responsible for what your AI sends. If you set it to reply automatically, those messages are sent in your name and count as yours. AI output can be wrong, inappropriate or misleading — review your settings, and do not rely on it for anything consequential. Never use it to give medical, legal, or financial advice on your behalf.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number and account secure.
Zero tolerance for abusive content and behaviour
aindme lets people message each other. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to use aindme — in your own messages, or by configuring your AI to produce them — to:
- harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone;
- post or send hate speech, or attack people on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation;
- send sexual content involving minors, or any non-consensual sexual content;
- threaten or glorify violence, or promote self-harm;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are;
- send spam, scams, phishing or unsolicited bulk messages;
- share someone else's private information without their consent;
- break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or scrape the service.
How this is enforced
- Every user can block anyone. A block stops contact in both directions, immediately.
- Every user can report a person or a conversation from inside the app.
- Reports go to a moderation queue that we review, and we aim to act on them within 24 hours.
- Accounts that break these rules can be suspended or removed without notice. Suspended accounts cannot sign in.
- Outgoing AI replies pass through an automated filter that redacts sensitive data and blocks unsafe content before it is sent.

Your content
What you write, and what you teach your AI, stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to operate the service: to store your content, transmit it to the people you are messaging, and process it (including through Google's Gemini API) so your AI can generate replies. We do not use your private messages to advertise to you, and we do not sell them.
Subscriptions, credits and payment
- Paid plans and credit top-ups are sold through the App Store and Google Play. Payment is taken by the store, not by us.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
- Cancel or manage your subscription in your App Store or Play Store account settings — deleting your aindme account does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy. We cannot issue store refunds directly.
- Credits are a licence to use AI features, not currency. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are lost if you delete your account.
- We may change prices. Any change applies from your next billing period, and we will tell you first.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. It stops working immediately and the data is permanently erased after a 14-day grace period. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
Availability
We try to keep aindme running and improving, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change or be withdrawn. We may suspend the service for maintenance.
Liability
aindme is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything your AI sends on your behalf. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using aindme and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use aindme after that means you accept the new terms.
