Delete your account

You can delete your aindme account and everything in it at any time. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need a reason.

If you still have the app

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

Open aindme → Settings → Delete account → confirm.

You are signed out straight away and nobody can reach your aindme after that. Your data is then held for 14 days before it is permanently erased.

Changed your mind? During those 14 days you can cancel the deletion from the same screen and your account comes back exactly as it was. Once the 14 days pass, the erasure is permanent and cannot be undone by you or by us.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@gedigoo.com from the account you want deleted, or tell us the phone number registered to it, with the subject "Delete my account".

We will verify that the request really comes from the account holder before doing anything — an account cannot be deleted by someone who simply knows your number. Once verified, the same 14-day process applies. We aim to reply within 2 business days.

What gets deleted

Permanently erased when the 14 days are up:

Your profile — name, username, occupation and photo
Everything your aindme learned about you: its training, memories and the interview answers behind it
Your conversations and messages, including the 1:1 threads themselves
Your contacts, groups and reply history
Your Legacy Vault entries and any pending vault requests
Your credit balance and AI usage history
Blocks in both directions

Your phone number and username are released back, so you can sign up again later with either if you want to.

What we keep, and why

Three things deliberately survive deletion. None of them identifies you afterwards.

Payment and invoice records — purchases, subscriptions and credit transactions. Tax and accounting law requires us to retain these. They point at an account id that no longer resolves to a person.
Moderation reports filed about you — if deleting an account erased the reports against it, "delete and re-register" would be a way to wipe an abuse record. Keeping them protects other people.
Product analytics — kept, but with your user id stripped, so it is no longer linked to you.

One thing to do separately. Deleting your aindme account does not cancel a paid subscription — Apple and Google hold that, not us. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play as well, or billing continues. See Refunds & Cancellation for the steps.
